This is my Production Portfolio, a space for showcasing my work as a director, playwright, & theatre maker.

Working in process-oriented, collaborative spaces, I’ve been able to develop a versatile skill set. As a multi-hypenate artist, my medium is subject to change, but I’m invested in focusing my work on the inherent violence of girlhood, queerness, the irony of human emotion, and what it means to live in this tumultuous present.

My Dearest Apologies

Written & Directed by Grace Lenore Rogers

Downstairs are around a dozen teenage ballerinas, the most drunk they've ever been in their young lives, counting down the hours until everything changes. Tomorrow, they will graduate from one of the country's most prestigious pre-professional ballet programs. So tonight, they get fucking sloshed.

A play about trauma, friendship, and what it means to be an artist trapped inside of a teenager.

With its world premiere in the fall of my senior year at Emerson College, My Dearest Apologies served as my debut both as a director and playwright. Produced by Mercutio Troupe, the production received a nominations for Best Stage Play, and won Outstanding Writing for the Stage and Outstanding Print Advertisement at the 44th EVVY Awards.

My Dearest Apologies is now available to read on New Play Exchange.

“This play is breathless, impossible to put down, and beautiful. It perfectly lands the balance of comedic moments that feel very real, relatable, and exactly how teenagers talk, and then it's very profound. Meaty roles for women in here and the characters are fleshed out, interesting, and lovable even at their most frustrating. Excellent for collegiate theatre and would lend itself nicely to staged readings.” - Anna Item

In April 2024, I had the opportunity to costume design Musical Theatre Society’s Chicago, directed by Connor Spring at Emerson College. As my first time as a designer, it was a humbling and incredibly rewarding experience, for which I was nominated for Outstanding Costume Design at the 44th EVVY Awards.
