I’m so Glad YOU'RE HERE!

Hello!

Flung across the universe (that is, the cumulative distance from North Carolina, to California, to Hawai’i, to Japan, to Boston, and back again); I grew up amidst fragments of people and places. As an eldest daughter of a Marine with a Virgo stellium, and suppressed queer identity, I was instilled with an immense sensitivity and intensity from an early age. In short, for as long as I can remember, I’ve had a story to tell and a need for an artistic outlet, which I’ve been lucky enough to find in theatre.

As an artist, I’m invested in exploring the inherent violence of girlhood, queer identity, and the ever-present paradox of human existence— namely, the inexplicable choice we make to be alive in this tumultuous present.

I use theatre as a tool for fostering connection, and exploring the beauty in what makes us most fallible.

I’ve cultivated my practice through new works, reimagined classics, theatre for young audiences, devised theatre, directing, playwrighting, acting, and working as a teaching artist. I thrive most in process-oriented spaces that celebrate theatre as a collaborative, collective art.

When not in the classroom, rehearsal room, or theater you can find me yearning, frolicking, pondering, or freelancing as a graphic designer.
